I'm a life-long, self-educated artist. From the
age of 7, I knew that art and writing were what I
wanted to do with my life. I was born with a
deep, inner passion for self-expression through
my writing, arts, design, and bright, vibrant
color.

The body of my art work includes Digital
Design, Acrylic Painting, Pyrography (furniture
design), Collage', Decoupage', Sculpting, Charcoal/
Graphite Pencil Drawing, Sewing, Paper Arts,
and Ceramic Painting.

In 2008, my artistic focus has been in the medium of Digital Design for the most part. I have also been focusing on Paper Arts, Sculpture and experimenting
in watercolor for the first time.

Through digital art I have found a new realm of
possibilities in creating one-of-a-kind works
without limitations of medium. The ideas are
endless, the excitement is uplifting, the results
are satisfying to me as an artist.

Some older works have removed from this site to make
room for more recent works, so my work in some
aforementioned mediums are not exhibited here
at this time

My published written works include prose, short-
stories, poetry and HAIKU. Over the years
I've competed and placed in several poetry and
writing contests. I wrote a column for
two local newspapers in the early 1990's.
My most recent publication was released in
November 2005. My short story, "VBS and the Art Class" was included in a collaborative effort in a book
titled, "Remembering School Days" published by
Big Barn Publishing. I'm not focusing on my writing
at this point (2006-2008), as far as trying
to have more writing published. I do, however,
write often and sometimes include my HAIKU,
TANKA and poetry with my art works for one-of-
a-kind pieces.

I began studying and writing TANKA in April 2008
and have included them in some of my
art works.

Lastly, I'm a very active member and moderator
of the WWAO (Worldwide Women Artists Online) group; a juried international group of almost 300 members. We exhibit monthly through various member's websites. WWAO promotes and encourages selling quality art works online.

I'm available for commissioned work, so contact
me if you have a project in mind.

I think I must've been born with a guitar in my hand. The first memories I have of my childhood include music. My father played the guitar, so there was always music in the house. When I was about 7 years old, he began to allow me to borrow his guitar and go into my room and see what I could do. I don't think my parents realized at the time that I wasn't "playing" (as in child's play), but that I was actually PLAYING the guitar.

It came to me as naturally as breathing and I'd watch and listen to more experienced musicians, (like Chet Atkins) and teach myself more and more in a finger-picking style. Over the years I'd pick up various instruments at music stores, garage sales, flea markets, etc...and somehow just start playing them.

Writing song lyrics and music flowed from me as God-given talents. I've never had one music lesson, but I can play just about any stringed instrument, the drums, harmonica and find my way around on a keyboard and/or piano. For many years I played various instruments on the Praise and Worship team in my church and as a member of a Gospel Band that traveled around playing at Revivals, Church Services, Youth Rallies and such.

My drawing talents came just as naturally as the music. I don't remember ever NOT being able to draw. Music is my biggest passion, but I do enjoy using my imagination and putting it to pencil and paper. In the past my religious drawings have been exhibited in a couple of churches near my hometown in Georgia. Bible scripture inspired me to depict God's word in my drawings to help people further understand the Truth.

I am available to work as an illustration artist on a project-by-project basis. I do not sell my drawings individually. Contact me for children's books projects, Christian books, comic books, game character development, etc....If you have any other proposal, contact me and we can discuss your ideas.

What you see in my art work here is what you get. I'm not into computer generated art or other mediums at this time....my work is generally graphite and/or colored pencil basic illustration work like I've been doing all of my life.
